Annie Callanta, LPC

Annie is a Licensed Professional Counselor who enjoys collaborating with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She believes the greatest gift we can give someone is to not just listen to their story, but to truly hear them.

Annie's greatest reward as a therapist is guiding clients towards their own view of success. While we do not have control over what happens to us, we are in control of how we respond. By learning to acknowledge and understand our feelings and thoughts, and then how to properly handle them, we can feel more confident in mastering harmony in our lives.

Annie's training and experience provide a blueprint to overcome obstacles that are preventing her clients from achieving their goals. She is dedicated to helping her clients build resources, tap into their own strengths, and acquire new tools to feel more prepared and confident to handle all life throws at them.

Annie uses a variety of approaches and interventions, such as Positive Psychology, Strengths-based, Person-centered, CBT, EFT, and Mindfulness. Her specialties include anxiety, depression, and trauma. Her special interests include adoption, women's issues, relationships, and parenting.
